our stay in stapelfeld was pleasant, but zur windmuhle completely exceeded our expectations. the friendly staff, delicious food, and lovely atmosphere made for a memorable experience. wifi worked great and the location was convenient. we'll definitely stay here again.

All rooms where full of tabaco smell, but it was unsmoking room. INternet dont worked. Payment could be made only by cash, because internet dont worked. Internet problems have not been solved even in 24 hours. Do not recomend this hotel to others.

my room was at end of corridor with two other corridors leading off from there, and the fire doors slammed shut regularly. my guess is it was the worst room in the hotel for quiet!

the location near the motorway was perfect for me as I needed to travel around easily. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. Thirdly, the room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a nice attention to detail. Lastly, the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food to start my day off on the right foot.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and courteous. The restaurant was excellent with good food and a nice atmosphere. Good links to the motorway (autobahn) but far enough off that you forgot that it was there! Very nice surroundings.

Unfortunately I must of miss read the booking as I needed a twin room as I shared the room with a business colleague but the two single beds were fixed together. Its a german thing which I have never understood? So we had to put a mattress on the floor. The hotel was fully booked so another room was not an option.

I keep returning because the staff helped me find my lost wallet. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, parking, a bar, and restaurant. They also have a business center. It's the perfect place for me. Plus, I love hiking and cycling. No pets allowed and smoke-free rooms. I'm coming back for a holiday!

The smoking policy in the hotel. It was not clearly stated that smoking was allowed in public areas, and even though the rooms were non-smoking, we could smell it in the hallways and lobby. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was not working properly, which made it difficult for us to communicate with our loved ones during our stay. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and would come back for the great breakfast and friendly staff.
